HackerNest Number Four!

Tech startups come together to connect n’ collaborate at the HackerNest Manila meet up.

Developers and entrepreneurs filled the A SPACE Greenbelt Gallery on September 29 for the fourth HackerNest mixer of the year. Currently in 19 cities all around the world, the aim of HackerNest is to create a mini Silicon Valley community here in Manila.

Sometimes you just want to go to an event not knowing what you get out of it. But then you engage into a nice conversation about an interesting topic. And then you meet that person where you can get the right insights from…it’s also good to be around people with the same age group who also enjoy the same interest… basically the younger demographic of the startup community that we have here in Manila.

HackerNest meet-ups happen once every two months. Aside from networking night, the team behind HackerNest in Manila is also looking at hosting meetups in Cebu and also holding hackathons and job fairs in the future.

Check out HackerNest Manila on Facebook or their Meetup page to join the community and get updates on their upcoming mixers and events!
