Big desks, file cabinets, carpets, cubicles may be the normal vision some see when they think about a “work space”. Yet our world is ever changing, technology creates better platforms for communication, different professions are introduced, new tools are required for working, human necessities are being considered, and more – for A SPACE and CUAsia 2016 it’s already a free new word.

Coworking Unconference Asia 2016

The Rise of Suburban Coworking by Brad Krauskopf from Third Spaces Groups

At CUAsia (Coworking Unconference Asia) 2016 held February 24-28 in Ubud, Bali, different people from all over the world gathered and talked about how they disrupt the conventional way of work and strive towards innovation. We call it the coworking movement.

Founders of different coworking spaces consider the needs of different professions, personalities, and teams. Some are focused in providing a community space for tech start ups, creatives, a laboratory or maker space for different inventors, a community based working environment for parents, digital nomads, travelers, writers, and even scuba divers.

Asia is continuously working on the evolution of work to accommodate the needs of a growing economy and a diverse community.
